I am pregnant/breastfeeding, am I limited to what services I can receive?

If you have not received an Elleebana lash lift prior to becoming pregnant unfortunately we cannot perform this treatment. If you are in your first trimester you cannot receive a lash lift. If you have received a lash lift at Sculpt Lash & Brow Studio before you can receive a lash lift in your second & third trimester. Please be aware that your results may vary as the hair conditions may change during pregnancy.

You cannot receive eyebrow henna treatments when pregnant or breastfeeding.

When pregnant you must receive a patch test prior to any eyelash extension, lash removal, brow lamination or hybrid dye treatments if pregnant and have not received these treatments at Sculpt Lash & Brow Studio in the past (brow lamination must be from 10/06/21 onwards as products have been updated).

For tinting treatments we recommend a patch test if you are pregnant and have not received the treatment at Sculpt Lash & Brow Studio in the past.

I am currently or have recently undergone chemotherapy, can I receive eyelash & eyebrow treatments?

We do not recommend receiving any lash or brow treatments other than waxing during chemotherapy or 6 months post chemotherapy as the hairs are still quite weak and may further damage your natural lashes/brow hairs. It is best to speak to your specialist.

Do lash extensions ruin your natural lashes?

Lash extensions do not damage your natural lashes. However, if you visit a technician that does not apply the extensions correctly or uses cheap products they can damage your natural lashes. Do your research to ensure you’re visiting a technician that is fully qualified, experienced and uses high quality products. Another factor to consider is client aftercare. If the client does not follow the correct aftercare and applies mascara, pulls at the lashes, rubs the eyes, doesn’t use a lash cleanser correctly ect, your natural lashes can be damaged. If you pull an extension out you will most definitely pull out the natural lash it is attached to. Lash extensions are a luxury service meaning they have important aftercare that follows. If you look after your lash extensions and follow these steps and your natural lashes will remain nice and healthy!

Why don't you offer refills on half set of lash extensions?

A half set of lash extensions consists of an extension being applied to every 2nd or 3rd natural lash, rather than every natural lash like a full set. As we naturally shed around 5 natural lashes a day the half sets of extensions will only last you around 2-3 weeks meaning there will not be a sufficient amount of lash extensions left on for it to be considered a refill. Half sets are recommended for clients who only want lash extensions as a once off for an event and do not want them super full. Please see our lash refill policy on our Terms & Conditions page to understand how our refills work for full sets.
